A.H. Carter & Associates, Inc. was established in June of 1985. Our focus is to provide a consistent, dependable and professional broker/forwarder service to the shipping community. Experienced and consistent: Over 100 years of combined experience at the Port of Seattle as a Customhouse Broker & International Freight Forwarder. Two Licensed Customhouse Brokers on staff.
Fully automated services: Complete ABI/ACS documentation processing which is fully integrated with other government agencies. Our state of the art PC/Windows (tm) based system provides for accurately prepared and timely filed documents with U.S. Customs. Our own in-house Export program enables us to provide you with swift & accurate freight quotations and booking information.
Personalized service: Knowledgeable & friendly account representatives’ handle your transactions from start to finish. They keep you informed of the status of your shipment and respond to your shipping requirements.
Regularly scheduled & in-house messenger service: We have a twice-daily regularly scheduled messenger service delivering documents to customs & shipping lines. We also provide our own inhouse messenger for your special requirements.
Warehouse & Distribution Services: We have our own 95000' warehouse which allows us to provide you with quality warehousing & distribution as well as individual packaging requirements. We may also arrange warehousing & distribution with other local firms.
Shipping community contacts: Because, sometimes it’s "who you know" that is needed to provide the service that you require.
